What is difference between current available and available in Irctc?
Under curr_avbl, passengers can book confirmed berths at the price of general tickets.
With IRCTC curr_avbl quota, the passengers can book tickets 30mins before the scheduled departure of the train from the origin station. If still, there are vacant berths available, then they are placed under the curr_available quota.
When current quota opens?
The general quota opens between 8 am to 8.30 am while the tatkal quota opens from 10 am to 10.30 am.
If you have booked the non AC tatkal quota then its counter will be open between 11 am to 11.30 am.
